MILAN\/DELHI, November 29\u2014 In the final stage of the 2022 edition of its \u201cItaly India Innovation Day\u201d on November 23, AIICP \u2013 Association India Italy for Partnership and Cooperation –\u00a0 announced the names of the ten start-ups, selected from a list of over 120 candidates, that presented their pitches to some of Italy\u2019s largest and most influential companies, attracting the attention of investors with the support of the Italian Embassy in New Delhi and the Indian Embassy in Rome.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Association was able to build on the success of the first edition of the Innovation Day held in July 2021 and its Chairman Emma Marcegaglia, an industry veteran with decades of experience in the C-suite, said:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAIICP believes Italy and India have entered Amrit Kaal, the Vedic perfect time to start new ventures with each other.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

By itself the Italy India Innovation Day 2022 represents an auspicious sign, as it means not only the first edition was successful and received positive feedbacks, but it also marks the intention to evolve over time and to define goals in the medium and long term.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

The selected companies presented their pitches to Italian industry heavyweights like Bonfiglioli, Danieli, Dell\u2019Orto, Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane, Generali, Maire Tecnimont, Marcegaglia, NextChem, Piaggio, and Pininfarina.<\/span><\/p>\n

In order to give Indian start-ups and scaleups full freedom to share information, the event took place on closed doors by invitation only. The aim was to promote concrete opportunities for commercial, industrial and financial collaboration between Italian companies (most of whom are already present in India) and Indian scaleups and start-ups interested in expanding their business in the Italian and European markets.<\/span><\/p>\n

The ten 2022 start-ups are: Aloe e-cell, Dealiverain research and solutions, Epocare, Ethereal Machines, Peppermint Robotics, SandLogic Technologies, SyncMonk Technologies, Torus Robotics, Vacus Tech and Vendor Infra Global.<\/span><\/p>\n

AWS India (Amazon Group), supporting partner of the initiative, announced during the event that \u2013 subject to eligibility to its Activate scheme- the 10 finalists will be granted 10000$ in AWS credits, while 5000$ in AWS credits will be issued to all other participants.<\/span><\/p>\n
